Several months ago, I was contacted by this sweet senior year girl. She expressed her interest in and love for photography. I was excited to hear that as a photographer herself, she decided that I was going to be the one to take her senior portraits. After being rained out several times this summer, we finally made this portrait session happen just recently. It was honestly the perfect and most beautiful late summer/early fall evening. I had a blast working with Amanda.

Summer is my favorite season. I just love the sunshine, warm weather and long evenings. It seems almost impossible that it is already mid-August! Students are heading back to school in a few short weeks. While many may be dreading going back to school, it is an exciting time for high school seniors! I remember very well the anticipation and excitement brought on by my senior year of high school. Twelve plus years of schooling all lead to that one final year that closes another chapter of life and begins a new one.
I cannot wait to see where life takes this special senior. She has a bright future awaiting her!

Natural Beauty | Senior Portrait Photographer – Pittsburgh, PA
With all of the strange weather we’ve been experiencing this spring in Pittsburgh, I was not sure if this session was going to be in the snow, rain, or sun! Thankfully, it was sunny and spring-like day for this fun senior portrait session. You may recognize this familiar face from a previous post a few months back. I could not have been happier to work with and photograph such a beautiful and fun girl not only once but twice!
We spent most of Friday evening grabbing some great photos in one of my favorite places to take portraits in Pittsburgh. Marina really knows how to work the camera! Not to mention, she is more than willing to go along with my crazy ideas – including sitting on a small and uncomfortable rock surrounded by plants for a considerable amount of time! (Thanks, Marina and sorry about that ;-))

2012 High School Seniors | Senior Portaits – Southwestern, PA
Hi, everyone! I will be running a special from now until the end of April on senior portrait sessions. For those upcoming seniors looking to get their portraits taken, now is the time to do it! Here is what the “special” involves:
* No session fee (the regular fee of $70 will be waived)
* Pre-session consultation via email
* 1 hour session with 2 clothing changes
* Photo retouching and editing
* Online proofing gallery
* 10 – 15 finished web-sized images on CD (watermarked images for social media such as Facebook)
The only fee will be for a CD with high resolution images – $75. This CD will have all images released which can be printed at any location. If interested, I also offer high quality prints.
