Not too long ago, I received an email from a high school classmate of mine. Brooke and I played softball together when we were little girls as well. Time goes by so quickly! When Brooke told me that she was engaged and looking for a wedding photographer, I was honored that she thought of me. After meeting with her and her fiancΓ©, Gwynn, I was excited to be a part of their wedding day.
These two really love each other. For their engagement session, they brought along the other love of their lives: Scout. Scout is a rescue dog. Gwynn and Brooke rescued her a few years back. Now, they cannot imagine life without her. With the help of Brooke’s mom, we got some really great shots of these three. What a fun engagement session!
I cannot wait to photograph their September 2013 wedding! Enjoy.

Megan and Shawn are one of the couples whose wedding I will be photographing in 2013! As soon as I met them, I knew they were going to be fun to get to know throughout the upcoming year. They seemed more like friends than anything to me almost immediately. Their engagement session was great! We were extremely lucky. You never know what to expect in December. The day of their session came and the forecast was calling for rain. Thankfully, the sun was shining until just moments after the session ended and the rain began to fall! It was nearly 60 degrees for their “winter” engagement portraits.
I am super excited to be a part of this couple’s special day in July. Until then, enjoy these lovely engagement portraits! π

Renee and Jess are such an awesome couple. I met them back in May to discuss photographing their wedding next year. As soon as we sat down to talk, I could immediately tell that they were great not just as a couple but also individually. They mentioned at our initial meeting that they wanted fall photos. I am so glad that they waited until the leaves changed for their portraits! It was a blast photographing these two. Can’t wait to photograph their upcoming wedding next May!
Enjoy this fantastic couple! π
