Despite the never-ending cold and snowy weather, Scott and I ventured out for a photo session with one of his guitar students, Elise. I’ve been wanting to have a photo session with Elise for a few months now. I was glad to finally get an opportunity to do so today.
Although the snow makes for a nice backdrop, I must say I am ready to see it go! After about 40 or so minutes into the session, we were all just about frozen. Elise never complained and happily went along with my crazy ideas. I hope to photograph her again when the weather is more desirable!
Enjoy another winter beauty 🙂
Today was a snow day for me and my sister, Natalie. I did not have class and she did not have work. Considering the roads were pretty terrible, we didn’t have much to do. I had promised Natalie around a month ago that we would do a winter photo session. She loves winter and snow! We finally had the perfect opportunity and setting to make it happen.
I cannot even tell you in words how cold we were! Natalie did not complain once. We had to stop after about 20 minutes because we were slowly becoming frozen. My hands were numb and could not properly work the camera any longer!
Considering this session was not really planned and certainly was not taking place in ideal weather conditions, we managed to sneak in a few beautiful shots!
I introduce you to my gorgeous sister, Natalie!
Happy New Year! I hope that everyone enjoyed the holidays. They go by too quickly!
Before Christmas, I had the opportunity to photograph some familiar faces. Scott, his sister Jamie, and I were able to sneak in some portraits of the two of them as a Christmas gift for their parents. We headed over to Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh to take advantage of the warm atmosphere and great surroundings. The holiday exhibit was really beautiful! The flowers and decorations made for the perfect backdrop. It was a nice opportunity to take some nice photos and check out the awesome exhibit.
We were cut a little short on time but somehow I still managed to take one too many photos! I had a difficult time picking out the right images because I had such great models to work with!
